The National Examination Board (NEB) has officially released the updated exam routine for Class 12 (2073 B.S.) following recent teachers’ protests across Nepal. The updated notice, published on Baishakh 10, 2082, comes with several important changes for students in both General and Technical Streams.

Why Was the Routine Updated?
After a wave of teacher protests regarding work conditions and rights, the Ministry of Education paused several administrative processes. This also led to a delay and restructuring of the Class 12 exam routine. Now, with issues gradually resolved, NEB has reissued the final routine to be followed by all +2 level institutions across Nepal.

Rules and Instructions for Examinees

Bring necessary tools: Geometry box, log tables (for science/technical), IS Codes, etc

No mobile phones or smart devices allowed inside the exam hall.

Partial students must refer to their specific subject codes and dates

Biology paper will be divided into Botany and Zoology, attempted separately.

Use of calculator is allowed only in specified subjects.
Tips for Class 12 Students

Create a revision schedule based on subject difficulty.
